Another great night at the Newark Business Awards is done and dusted for another year. Well done to Rachel and Cassandra from the Advertiser for doing an excellent organising job and congratulations to all the winners. My team did a wonderful job ensuring the production for the evening went without a hitch.
Cassandra and Rachel transformed themselves for the evening whilst I found my true position in life – crawling around on the floor between tables after Chris the cameraman’s cables whilst we did a live feed of the winners collecting their awards! At least we didn’t garrot the Mayor or trip any winners up on their way to the stage…!
The change of colour scheme for this year’s event looked stunning with the flowers really setting the tables off well. We just need to find some gel for the uplighter cans to match as our green definately didn’t so we couldn’t use it. However, Pete did a great lighting job which enhanced the set really well.
Thanks to Adam, Jed, Pete and Chris for once again making the evening work – I couldn’t do it without you guys, no really, I definately couldn’t!
