Despite a little bit of rain earlier in the afternoon, the crowd at this year’s Party in the Square sprits’ weren’t dampened and they thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon of free music. This is the fourth year the event has run and ‘that girl’ is delighted to organise it with the North Notts BID team as part of our ongoing contract.
Kicking off the event again were local family group, The Bowkers, followed by Dua Live – Dua Lipa tribute and Spice Forever – a tribute to the Spice Girls. Headline act, Rule the World, wowed the audience with their Take That sounds and even posed for selfies with the crowd afterwards. DJ Tim Asher rounded the afternoon off before the crowd headed home and to the local bars and restaurants.
The rain stayed away and with a combined effort from all the great suppliers we have on this event, the square was tidy and empty by just after 10pm – a great job all round!
